El PARAISO

$22.00Price

This limited edition variety was grown in micro-lots in Yaunera, Copán, on a farm called El Paraíso: a region of Honduras known for its ancient Mayan ruins and chocolatey coffee profiles. Grown at 1,500 meters above sea level, this delicate Yellow Catuai bean tastes of white chocolate, caramel and grapefruit. Producer Iris Alvarado processed these beans using the washed method, resulting in a bright cup with a silky body. Sustainability is just as important to Iris as it is to Galeano--rest assured that this coffee was grown using environmentally friendly practices.

This coffee is a great option for espresso drinkers and for those who enjoy their coffee with milk.

Having a direct relationship with the producers themselves is an important factor that makes us stand out as a brand. We don't buy our coffee from an importer; we visit the origin at least four times a year, meeting with the producers and building lasting relationships. By cutting out the middleman, we ensure that each producer receives a just price. To us, that's what it's all about.
